The Face of God

"Hide not your face from me.
Turn not your servant away in anger,
O you have been my help.
Cast me not off; forsake me not,
O God of my salvation" Psalm 27:9

This verse starts my devotion this week.
As I read this verse, I think it speaks for the hearts and minds of many Christians.

How many have lived in fear and condemnation for things done in their past.

For some, the fear and condemnation may be holding them back from truly seeking a relationship with their savior.

For those who are HIS children, HE will never hide HIS face from you.
For those seeking... HE has HIS arms open wide ready to receive you.

His love and grace is inexhaustible.  It cannot be used up.  The supply is unlimited.  That is why it is free.  That is why all you have to do is ask for it.

Father God, pour into me your Love and Grace that it may overflow into the lives of all around me.
The flood gates of heaven have been opened.  Help me be part of the flow, not the debris that gets in the way. - Amen.

  1. You are so right Ryan. God's love and grace cannot be used up. if so, I'm in deep horse doo-doo. I also choose to not live in fear. As the song says, "I'm no longer a slave to fear, I am a child of God."

    1. Thank you Martha, In my mind, if this post eventually moves some to seeking this Love and Grace that God is continually dispensing... I can only hope that the next step would be to giving their lives to our Great God.
